Team Challenge ALS - Can't Stop, Won't Stop Challenge WPA

2021 Mars Hockey Club Ice ALS Charity Night

Thank you for your interest in supporting the 2nd Annual Ice ALS Charity Event sponsored by the Mars Hockey Club.  Last year, we were able to raise $1300 to support The ALS Association Western PA Chapter.  The event might have to look a bit different this year because of the pandemic, but we are going to do our best to support the ALS community.

Event Details:  The Ice ALS Charity Hockey Game will take place on March 29, 2021 when our Mars team takes on the Franklin Regional Panthers.  The game starts at 9:00 pm at Baierl Ice Complex.  At this point, there are restrictions regarding attendance, but we will update this page as we get closer to game time.

Our Mission to Ice ALS:  ALS is a progressive, fatal disease that currently has no known cure. The ALS Assocation works to raise funds to provide for families living with ALS and fuel research efforts to cure the disease. Mars Hockey Club is hosting this fundraiser to help the Western PA Chapter of the ALS Association raise money that is critical to people with ALS and their families. With your help, we can make sure these patients receive the supportive care they need even in light of the difficult year we have all faced.

Ways to Help Mars Hockey Ice ALS:  We hope you can attend the game on March 29th to donate in person and to participate in basket raffles.  However, we are not sure yet if this will be possible (we will update this page as we get closer to the game).  You can always click on the red "Donate Now" button to contribute toward our updated goal of $5000.  In addition, you can purchase a t-shirt.  To do so, please fill out this Google Survey:  https://forms.gle/AXkdayrsBfdx32vR6.  Special thanks to Sara (www.saralynncreatif.com) for designing the t-shirts this year (and last year) for free!
