The Walk to Defeat ALS is in Pittsburgh on Saturday, September 11, at Point State Park at 10 a.m. Our team, Team George Paul Sandi, is walking in memory of George B. Wolford (who passed away on November 11, 2014), Paul (Red) Snyder (who passed away in June 17, 2014), and Sandi Hackett (who passed away on May 16, 2017).
It’s a tremendous honor to remember George, Paul and Sandi every year at this walk, and we ask that you join our team, and consider making a donation to fund research, advocacy, and programs for those suffering from this terrible disease.
You can donate online or via direct mail by writing a check out to The ALS Association and mailing it to: ALS Association Pittsburgh Chapter, 416 Lincoln Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209. Please write "Team GPS" in the memo section.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease and it costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Your donation will help in the advancement of new discoveries and treatments for those affected with ALS.
Sincerely,
George, Paul and Sandi's Family and Friends
